Best experience out of all of this is the putty for the molds doesn't taste terrible, and its not a weird texture and taste like at the dentist. I think I will continue to use Smile Brilliant, it truly is simple and easy to use.
Some of these instructions below are from the instructions they give you when making the mold but I found the following worked better after doing the top first and noticed that I needed to do another top mold after doing the bottom.
Step 1 : Brush your teeth and floss well.
Step 2 : Roll blue putty into a ball first then do the white putty into a ball (keep them seperate), then smash the two balls together and fold them over and over again for about 30 seconds. (You want to still see the white streaks mixed in the blue)
Step 3 : Quickly put the putty into one of the blue trays within 30 seconds. Then press the mold to the top teeth evenly and as far over gums as possible. Over flow of product should be molded around gums.
* I noticed if I pushed my lips and mouth around the overflow and held the bottom of the tray up into my teeth with my fingers, the mold came out perfectly.
Step 4 : After holding the mold in place for about 2-3 mins, slowly remove without wiggling. Then, if satisfied with outcome, put mold aside and let dry for 30 mins.
Step 5 : Repeat all following steps for bottom mold.
After letting both molds dry for 30 mins you can then rinse, dry, and pack in the pre-paid mailiing envelope, and include the form inside the box with all your details.
This process was kind of a pain, but I know Smile Brilliant will give me the most beautiful pearly whites after all this. Also, my trays will arrive in about a week, then the whitening process begins!
